Welcome to your Sullivan Family assignment page! Here you’ll find all the details that will help you feel right at home for the weekend, including your Family Pal (your dedicated chaperone), your cabin assignment, the family you’ll be sharing your space with, and your color group.

Each of these selections was thoughtfully arranged in hopes of creating a fun, supportive, and connected experience for your family!

Your Family Pal for Sun Escape 2026 is MATTHEW SIMS

Matt lives with EPP and will be back at Sun Escape for this third year volunteering. When asked what volunteering at Sun Escape means to him, Matthew wrote “I had the opportunity to volunteer as a family pal last year. It was one of the greatest weekends of my life. Not just seeing all the kids and parents being able to physically relax from the worry of the sun, but for me finally experience a summer camp and be surrounded by other people like me.”

We encourage our families to reach out to their assigned volunteer via email prior to the start of camp to introduce themselves and get familiar prior to the start of Sun Escape. Your Cabin & Color Grouping Information

At Sun Escape, each family is assigned a color group to help guide the flow of the weekend. While many activities are enjoyed together, your color determines the schedule your family will follow for certain program areas. Your cabin will match your assigned color, making it easy to stay connected with your group throughout the weekend.

You will be staying in our Las Vegas Cabin with the Liston Family

Greysen Liston aka PAPA G, is one of the more memorable campers you will meet at Sun Escape. He’s story is also the most unique. Shadow Jumpers & the Liston family have been on a multi year journey in getting a proper diagnosis for Greysen and his severe photosensitivity. Having to be nearly completely covered up for substantial parts of the day, tests continue to comeback negative even though collective spirits remain high. “Sun Escape has been such a highlight for our family for the past 2 years. It truly is the most peace we feel all year,” Greysen’s mom wrote. “It has helped to normalize many of our struggles, and it has been amazing to have the opportunity for Greysen to connect with peers and adults who genuinely understand what he lives everyday. There definitely is not enough space here to express how much it has meant to us to have our Shadow Jumper family.”

As a reminder, each family will have their own private side of the cabin which includes a bedroom and bathroom. Both families will share a common area.
