Your Pre Camp Hotel

We have reserved you a 1 bedroom 2 queen bed Wednesday night for your group at our designated pre camp hotel, the Greensboro-High Point Airport Marriott. Information regarding your hotel reservation will be made available here around April 15th after our room block window has closed.

A shuttle runs 24/7 from the Greensboro Airport to the Marriott and the ride is about 5 minutes. To reach the shuttle at the airport please follow the following steps -

  • Head to the GROUND FLOOR of Greensboro Airport.

  • Proceed to Door #4.

  • Look for a NAVY BLUE SHUTTLE labeled PTI FLY EASY.

  • If the shuttle is not visible, feel free to call the hotel at (336) 852-6450 to arrange for a pick-up.

Join us and other early arrivals on Thursday at our pre camp welcome room. Located in a conference room on the first floor, we will have lunch, games, and movies, plus it’ll provide a great opportunity to break the ice and connect with other campers

All volunteers who arrive to the Greensboro area and need a ride to Victory Junction can meet in the lobby of the Marriott for a 12:30pm departure. We will car pool.

Should you miss our carpool departure, you will need to order a ride share directly to Victory Junction located at 5467 Fred Lineberry Rd Randleman, NC 27317 and through GATE 1 only.

Departing Sun Escape on Sunday Morning

Ollie you will be departing with Ginger. Marianna should you fly out of Greensboro, a charter bus will be provided for your group and other volunteers who are confirmed to be flying out of Greensboro Airport on Sunday after our camp weekend has concluded. The bus will arrive at approximately 11:00am and should depart no later than 11:30am. The ride typically takes about 30 minutes. Families should expect to arrive at Greensboro Airport around 12:00pm.

All passengers will be dropped off in the same location because there is only one terminal. You should not expect to wait more than 15 minutes to get through TSA this time of year at GSO.

Airfare Reimbursement & Additional Expenses

Ollie’s airfare has already been submitted and accepted by Shadow Jumpers and the United Porphyrias Association. Marianna please send by April 1st (really whenever cause its you).

We will start to send volunteers their airfare stipends as they arrive to the North Carolina area. Should you have additional expenses to submit, you can do so after your travels have concluded via the reimbursement tab on your portal profile.

Please allow up to 3 weeks for reimbursement.
